Stars on stage

In Stars on Stage the limelight is directed as if by a swinging pendulum onto all instrumental groups at once. In addition, the piece contains a short passage in which -thanks to simple notated solos- young players can show themselves in their best light. More advanced musicicians, however, have the opportunity to improvise over a chord progression. With this cheerful, twinkle-toed composition, every performer feels like the star of the evening.
